Japan’s Favorite Sushi

Nobody knows sushi like the Japanese, so a lot of people want to know what Japan eats when they go out for a sushi dinner. If you’d like to eat like the Japanese do when you come to our Bothell Japanese restaurant, try grabbing a few of Japan’s favorites off of our conveyer belt.

Asahi surveyed a selection of eight hundred thirty Japanese adults from all across Japan, asking them to identify their favorite kind of sushi. The top three choices proved to be chutoro (medium-fatty tuna), which made up 15.3% of results, sake (salmon), which got 9%, and maguro akami (red tuna), which got 8.8%. These were followed by selections like uni (sea urchin), ikura (salmon roe), ika (squid), and others. You can find many of these at Sushi Hana, so come and get a taste of Japan’s favorites for yourself!
