Looking Forward to the Year of the Monkey

The traditional Chinese New Year is coming up on February 8th, which means that Japan and much of the rest of Asia will be marking the arrival of the Year of the Monkey. So, what does this mean for the rest of 2016?

The Monkey is a sign of change and wild, creative energy. Unfortunately, it is also considered one of the more unlucky of the Chinese zodiac signs. This is a year when just about anything could happen, as the influence of the Monkey is known to put everything into flux. It will be largely the individual efforts that will get anything productive accomplished this year, while political movements or other large group efforts will not make much of a lasting impression. Be bold, take risks, and indulge your more rebellious and inventive side this year.

Of course, even in these uncertain times, you can always count on Sushi Hana to deliver a quality sushi dining experience. Visit our Bothell Japanese restaurant to enjoy some of your old favorites today!
