The World’s Largest Sushi Roll

What is the biggest sushi dish you have ever eaten? If you’re a regular at our Bothell Japanese restaurant, you may have partaken of our hefty dragon roll, or maybe a bowl full of chirashi sushi. However, you may be surprised at just how big sushi can get. Take a trip across the Pacific to Japan’s Anjo City, and you can find the current record-holder for the world’s largest sushi dish.

This dish is prepared by Umewaka Restaurant, and comes in the form of an oversized sushi roll with a diameter of twenty centimeters and a weight of six kilograms. It contains twenty different fish and other ingredients, all wrapped up in a two-meter strip of nori and sushi rice. You can pit your stomach against this sushi giant for 15,000 yen, though you should plan ahead; ordering this prodigious roll requires a reservation two days in advance.

Though you can’t get a roll this big at Sushi Hana, you can always count on getting big taste and a solid dining experience. Come and join us at Sushi Hana for a few of your favorites today!
