Tobiko Roe

Have you ever had tobiko before? If you’ve patronized a proper sushi restaurant in the past, chances are good that you’ve at least sampled this Japanese favorite. They come in the form of tiny, bright red fish eggs, originating from the tropical flying fish. Diners appreciate their slightly sweet, salty taste and crunchy texture. It is frequently sprinkled across the top of elaborate fusion rolls to give them a little extra pop.

At Sushi Hana’s Japanese restaurant in Bothell, you can partake of tobiko in the form of our tobiko nigiri, or spread across the top of our Airbender roll. Come and try some of this old favorite today!
